We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Operations & Business Technology Liaison & Project Delivery to join our Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• The group – Workflow Optimization – manages end to end operational project delivery and has engineering/development oversight for the Global Sanctions Operations case management tool :
• Defines user journeys and personas
• Gathers SLAs and requirements per line of business/function
• Participates and contributes to overall POD goal of defining and delivering a workflow UI that provides standardized dispositioning, investigation, and escalation of static and transactional sanctions alerts
• In addition to supporting operational deliveries and automation, this group also provides support to business partners and sanctions compliance with commercial deliveries:
• New product support and delivery
• Client experience and growth
• Enhanced reporting capabilities and traceability of sanctions operations screening activities
• You will work in an agile environment, that focuses on:

• Business analysis and requirements gathering

• Operational readiness and support
• Operational efficiencies
• Participates in the development of functional or operational requirements
• Participates in process improvement reviews and summarizes business issues and compliance feedback for teams’ review
• Uses defined or documented processes to collect and define requirements from businesses or functional areas
• Pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement in operational process, client experience and business growth
• Uses knowledge of business needs to provide design support to software and application development teams
• Tasks include case development, requirement traceability, analysis, test script writing and preparation, test execution and validation
• Supports testing of new or enhanced process(es), functionality, applications, and/or systems
• Key role in ensuring operational readiness across the teams before any production implementation(s)
• Interfaces with all areas of IT on behalf of the business to resolve IT matters and improve operational and business processes
• Uses basic knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements and BNY corporate policies involving risk and control to support the development of improved business processes through technology
• Understands and follows procedures, policy and governance associated with responsibilities and the role.
  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• 0-3 years of total work experience preferred
• Technical experience preferred
• Aspects of project work with a background of execution and delivery
• Sanctions knowledge
• Transanctional or static screening knowledge
• Prior work experience in an Agile environment
• Preferred:
• Alteryx
• SQL
• UI Path
• LexisNexis Bridger Insight
• CIA/PEGA
