We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Technical Product Specialist and App Delivery to join our Markets Hub team. This role is located in Boston, MA – Hybrid - Flex.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead delivery of real-time market data governance model; oversee and drive on-time completion of analysis, design, development, testing, and release in partnership with the Product / Platform Managers
- Ensure application of tech development best practices in across pod development teams, in alignment with standards and technical roadmap set by Engineering Lead
- Manage Product / Platform-specific tech vendor assessment and ensure vendor accountability
- Escalate incidents or concerns to the SDG Lead for resolution as needed
- Provide thought leadership and support for team of engineers and developers with issues and questions
- Provide technical feedback to Product Owners, integrating input across all technical teams (incl. solutions architecture and design)
- Collaborate with Engineering Lead to identify opportunities for process improvement where relevant through research and continuous improvement
- Manage and track adherence to tech development KPIs, with regular aggregated reporting of progress across Hub
- Strong execution skills and ability to navigate the organization to get things done
- Hands-on technical skills to be able to swiftly identify process gaps
- Excellent communications skills and ability to articulate ideas to business, operations, and engineers
- Experience in the creation and maintenance of Policy and procedure documents
- Vendor Relationship Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred.
- 10-12 years of experience in a systems SCM environment, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
