We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Quality Engineer II to join our Global Clearing team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL – Hybrid.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work with members of the automated testing team to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, scripts, and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop and execute performance tests to ensure applications can handle expected load and stress.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automated testing and quality assurance.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in automated testing.
- Participate in the development of testing strategies, processes, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team and contribute to the development of technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred,
- 8-10 years of experience in a systems quality environment preferred.
- Proficiency in automated testing Frameworks (e.g. Selenium/Cucumber).
- Experience with Java programming languages
- Knowledge of SQL queries with Relational databases
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Scrum methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical and communication skills required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge and experience in financial services or fintech is preferred
