Bo-Mer Plastics is a family-owned, custom plastic and metal fabricator serving a variety of customers in both the US and abroad. Our focus has always been to understand the customer’s vision and work with them hand-in-hand to bring that vision to fruition.
Bo-Mer is looking for an immediate, full-time, first-shift Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Assurance Team.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate must be dependable and have a strong desire to learn.
- Must have passion, self-motivation, great attention to detail, ability to multitask and enthusiasm for learning.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Experience with 3D parts, measuring devices such as height gages, calipers, micrometers, depth gages, verniers and CMM.
- Perform first article, in-coming, in-process inspection or verification where required.
- Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Communicate with project engineers to ensure schematics follow the final product.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED is required. 2-year Engineering Technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Must be able to read/interpret blueprint/engineering drawings including specifications and tolerances with a strong understanding of GD&T.
- Previous quality assurance, CMM setup/programming experience is preferred.
- Polyworks, CAM2 software, FARO ARM/Laser Inspection experience highly desirable.
- Must have basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
