What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper/Landscaper position at Boar’s Head Resort?
The Boar's Head Resort is seeking a full-time and seasonal Groundskeeper! The Grounds team maintain the Hotel and Sports Club landscaping and surrounding areas. As a 4 Diamond Resort, we take pride in the maintenance of our greenery as a Groundskeeper you will play an integral role in the upkeep and preservation of our land.
:
- Cut lawns, plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Water lawn and shrubs
- Maintaining trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls
- Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs
- Rake and bag leaves
- Repair fences, gates, walls, and walks
- Clean grounds and remove litter
- Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Willing to learn how to operate maintenance equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- General knowledge of landscaping
- Must be able to operate and drive a golf cart
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 29 per week
