Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by answering questions, offering limited medication information, and ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain accurate records of medication orders and patient profiles.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient service and care.
• Understand and apply medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the hospital pharmacy environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in pharmacy practice.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role within a medical setting.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and care.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient treatment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $19.44 - $20.57 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week

Physical Setting:

• Outpatient

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• No weekends

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
