We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Business Office team at Questar III BOCES. The ideal candidate will assist in managing all financial accounting functions, including preparing financial reports, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, journal entries, grants reporting, and billing.
Key Job Functions:
- Manages all financial accounting functions, including preparing financial reports, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, journal entries, grants reporting, and billing.
- Maintains the general ledger and performs other related duties for the organization.
- Reconciles monthly bank accounts and accounts receivable collections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least two years of accounting experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration or related field with a minimum of 18 semester credit hours in Accounting and four years of accounting experience accepted.
