What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investigative Auditor - Audit/Intake and Qualification - PCFB position at Board of Elections?
The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Illustrative duties: • Conduct preliminary reviews of public campaign finance filings by political committees and candidates based on criteria, including reviewing for completeness and accuracy.• Conduct a preliminary review of the books and records of political committees and candidates as may be necessary to effectuate a complete and thorough assessment of compliance with Rules, Regulations, statutes, Board Opinions, and policies.• Conduct focused review projects, including reviews for over contributions. Such projects shall include an analysis and application of appropriate Rules, Regulations, statutes, Board Opinions and policies, and all correspondence and communications necessary to effectively complete these projects.• Assist with phone support and help desk tasks, as necessary.• Assist the Compliance Unit in the analysis and review of campaign finance disclosures and filings relative to securing compliance with all filings made with the Board.• Assist in the development and implementation of campaign finance projects.• Assist in the calculation of contribution limits for all applicable offices based upon statutory formulas.• Assist in the development of policy recommendations in the area of public campaign finance compliance.• Assist with all tasks and matters as may reasonably be assigned.
The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications An Associate’s Degree two (2) years of accounting or finance or general business or other related experience; or 3 years of related experience. Bilingual proficiency a plus.
