We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Technical Writing Intern to join our Product Team for the summer. If you enjoy writing, organizing information, and making complex topics easy to understand, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical content creation.
As an intern, you’ll help support our documentation efforts, work on content projects, and learn best practices in technical writing. You’ll collaborate with our team to create clear, concise, and user-friendly content that helps our customers and internal teams.
This position is based in our Boston, MA office.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and updating technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and writers to gather information and translate it into easy-to-understand content.
- Learn and apply UX principles to improve the clarity and accessibility of documentation.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Help organize and structure documentation to enhance user experience.
- Support other content-related projects, such as blog posts, release notes, or FAQs
Who you are:
- A strong communicator with excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn about technical writing and documentation.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently.
- Curious and analytical, with a passion for making complex information easy to understand.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest or background in finance, statistics, or economics is a plus.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong writing and research skills (experience with technical writing is a plus but not required).
- Basic understanding of technology, software, or user experience principles is a bonus.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or content management systems is helpful but not required.
