What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Router Operator position at Boardwalk Designs?
We are local sign fabrication company seeking a reliable detail-oriented CNC Router Technician to join our production team. We are willing to train the right person!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC Router
- Arrange and prioritize work orders to manage workflow and meet deadlines.
- Establish cutting parameters to achieve maximum quality and yield
- Load raw materials onto router and remove finished product
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- De-burr & clean finished parts
- Follow Safety Guidelines and Practices
- Work in conjunction with shop technicians to facilitate fabrication of final product
- Clean and upkeep router workspace
- Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.) Experience with Corel or Gerber is a bonus!
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and proactive work ethic.
- Physically able to lift heavy materials on and off of router
Experience in Construction or Engineering are a plus but not required. Gerber Software experience also a plus.
Willingness to cross train in other departments also preferred
