Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by serving high-quality drinks in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure efficient service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system for order entry and payment processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in banquet or catering events as needed, ensuring timely service during large gatherings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable, especially in fine dining settings.
- Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and menu offerings to enhance guest experience.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub, fine dining, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of brewing processes is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members provide outstanding service to guests.
