Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for food and service.
Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by communicating guest needs and special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure it meets our high standards.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order tracking and processing.
- Experience in culinary or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for food preparation and guest services, contributing positively to the overall dining experience.
