Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management and a passion for the food industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive a memorable dining experience while maintaining operational excellence.
Duties
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and train front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive team environment.
- Implement and maintain food handling and safety protocols to comply with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Assist in menu planning and beverage selections, including coffee offerings, to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
- Monitor dining room flow and table turnover to optimize seating arrangements and maximize efficiency.
- Prepare reports on service performance, staff productivity, and customer feedback for management review.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations within the food service industry.
- Experience in fine dining settings with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively, with excellent leadership skills.
- Familiarity with casual dining environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
