Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Wait Assistant to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. This role is essential in providing support across various functions, ensuring smooth operations within our restaurant and banquet services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and a background in food service, with experience in kitchen operations being a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations of the restaurant and banquet services, ensuring high standards of service are maintained.
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation, cooking, and plating as needed.
- Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems to process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and food service operations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent guest services.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
