**Job Description:**
We are currently looking for a skilled Gas Transmission Specialist to join our team in Sterlington, LA or Bastrop, LA. This role will involve carrying out daily operations & maintenance tasks associated with pipeline activities and assisting with operations and maintenance of our compressor station facilities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine tasks such as reading rectifiers, valve inspection and maintenance, and tank gauging
- Assist with environmental health & safety and reliability duties related to natural gas transmission through the pipeline system
- Read, understand, and implement company guidelines and procedures related to facility equipment and appurtenances
**Requirements:**
- 1-5 years of gas pipeline operations and maintenance experience or equivalent petrochemical / oil industry experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a history of safe work
- Ability to work outside in hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments and ability to stand for long periods of time and climb stairs and ladders
