Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com .We are currently looking for a Market Analyst II / III to work in our Houston, TX location.POSITION DESCRIPTION : Provide analysis of supply / demand and pipeline flow trends in support of the Commercial group and implement improvements in data collection and report generation.Maintain, improve, and build quantitative models in Excel to forecast and analyze gas fundamentals in support of the 5 year planResearch, gather, and analyze information on new and existing projects, drilling activity, decline ratesAssist on research, presentations, and special projectsImprove functionality and workflow efficiency of existing models and databases.General support of the firm's commercial activities and other deliverables, including across teams.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE : Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Comfortable managing and creating charts, slides, and complex Excel modelsExcellent attention to detail.Interest in analytical work and its application in informing commercial decisionsEnthusiasm for developing a lasting career in the natural gas spacePREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE : Knowledge of VBA for Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, Business Objects and advanced quantitative tools (such as R and Python) are a plusFamiliarity with the natural gas industry and markets preferredREQUIRED EDUCATION : Bachelors DegreeADDITIONAL INFORMATION : Boardwalk Pipelines, LP maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hire.Boardwalk Pipelines, LP is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
