What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Requirements Analyst/Engineering Technical Writer position at Boarhog LLC?
POSITION:
The Engineering Requirements Analyst / Engineering Technical Writer supports the Lead Capability Integration Functional Lead with assisting Principal Integration Program Manager (PIPM) and Integration Program Managers (IPMs) with the management of multiple levels of requirements within integration projects/programs and developing, maintaining, and tracking the associated technical documentation.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a project/program Requirements Management Plan and Documentation Management Plan
· Manage Stakeholder Requirements interpretation, decomposition, and allocation across multiple projects/programs via Requirements Allocation Agreements
· Coordinate review and approval of developed integration and system/subsystem requirements across multiple projects/programs and their subsequent program documentation
· Coordinate requirements change across the project/program lifecycle, and track the Change/Content Management of program policy and requirements documents across the multiple projects/programs
· Track and Report progress of requirements implementation and verification, and identifying and tracking Risks/Issues/Opportunities to program managers and stakeholders’ briefings during project/program execution
· Develop and present requirements status briefings for leadership, stakeholders, and executives, and validate documentation/briefing content to ensure accuracy and version control
· Coordinate leadership review and approval of documentation and briefings
· Review/Edit engineering and acquisition documents and briefings to produce clear and concise material
· Manage Quality Assurance reviews of developed documents and briefings
· Manage review feedback of documents across multiple projects/programs, capturing revisions and suggestions for future development
· Actively participate in technical and programmatic meetings to provide status and define technical documentation development requirements and milestones
Skills – Proficiency in:
· Requirements Management tools, preferably Cameo Systems Modeler
· Technical requirements traceability and conducting technical reviews of documentation
· Creation of technical documentation in Aerospace and Defense (for DoD), and implementation of Version Control and Change/Content Management principles and format
· Able to develop Documentation/Presentation material in MS Office and Acrobat, and present briefings to leadership, stakeholders, and executives
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community both verbally and in writing
Familiarity with:
· Model Based Systems Engineering tools, specifically Cameo Systems Modeler
· System-of-Systems Development Life Cycle
· Agile Development fundamentals, structure and procedure of agile ceremony meetings
· Systems Engineering’s role in requirements development and Test and Evaluation’s role in requirements verification
· Working knowledge of US Navy and Department of Defense terminology and acronyms
· Military exposure and experience, particularly with military technical documentation writing and formatting standards, guidelines, and verbiage, and terminology and acronyms
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field from accredited university or college and 5 years of relevant experience, OR
o Certification in Requirements Management
o Certification in Project/Program Management
· Security Clearance: Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Work Environment:
· Work to be performed at NAVWAR Old Town classified space
