What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatics Supervisor position at Boars Head Resort?
Description:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to help prepare and maintain our pool facilities for the season. This position works closely with the Aquatics Manager to ensure the pools and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and fully operational. The ideal candidate will take initiative, pay attention to detail, and contribute to a top-tier guest and members experience.
Requirements:- Work with Aquatics Manager to bring facility up to operating conditions including:
- Cleaning and setting up pool furniture (i.e. umbrellas, chairs and tables, etc.)
- Cleaning facilities (i.e. Resort and Sports Club guardrooms, Resort bathrooms, etc.)
- Ensuring all preparations are on schedule and complete for pools' openings.
- Meet with the Aquatics Manager as needed to discuss scheduling, pool preparation, training sessions, guard meetings, teambuilding activities and other related issues.
- Act as a liaison between Jefferson Swim League coaching staff and Boar's Head Sports Club.
- Lead in-service training.
- Assist the Resort Aquatics Technician with filling and vacuuming pools, addressing chemicals issues with the Engineering team as needed.
- Monitor mechanical and chemical conditions of the pool facilities in absence of Resort Aquatics Technician and inform Engineering team of any maintenance/repair problems.
- Communicate with Assistant Operations Manager for all supplies needed.
- Supervise pool operations and staff.
- Act as a leader for the Lifeguard and Aquatics Service Agent staff both by demonstration and instruction.
- Help cover all special events, including swim meets.

Ensure that all daily and rotational tasks are completed during each shift including:
- Ensuring the pool area maintains a high standard of cleanliness, including towels, leaves and garbage.
- Ensuring that towels are stocked and offered upon guest entry.
- Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.
