Description:
The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of cash and credit card reconciliations, preparing and distributing daily revenue reports, and verifying room and food & beverage statistics. This role also supports operating departments with cash needs, prepares daily bank deposits, and audits shift closing reports to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare the daily cash deposits for bank pickup.
- Provide change and cash support for operating departments.
- Reconcile credit card electronic fund transfers (EFTs) and cash deposits against the daily bank statement.
- Generate and distribute the daily revenue report.
- Manage credit card chargebacks efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Conduct audits of shift closing reports, verifying revenues and receipts. Make corrective adjustments as necessary.
- Perform credit checks for direct billing privileges.
- Process travel agent commissions.
- Assist in guest inquiries via telephone, ensuring a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with co-workers and provide support as necessary.
- Contribute to team efforts by completing additional duties as assigned.
