We are currently seeking a Supply Planner I to join our Boart Longyear team in Elko, NV.
Responsibilities
- Purchase maintenance parts for the shop and field
- Reduce item cost through sourcing activities
- Direct all processes and procedures for rig down situations
- Communicate clearly with internal customers to set expectations and understand customer requirements
- Proactively prevent and resolve issues related to spare parts availability
- Other duties as required
- Minimum 2 years of proven working experience as a Planner / Buyer
- Good understanding of Supply Chain process and supply ordering techniques
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work with different personalities and follow direct orders
- Proficient in spreadsheet software
- Equipment maintenance background preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Oracle software experience preferred
