EXPERIENCED outboard Marine technician needed. We are a Yamaha, Mercury / MerCruiser, BRP (Evinrude / Johnson), Suzuki, Volvo Penta dealer. We specialize in new Mercury repowers. We do some but very limited sterndrive work, any knowledge in this area is a plus.
Mercury repower knowledge a plus, marine 12v systems diagnostics and repair and electronics installation also a huge plus.
Willing to train the right employees, including engine manufacturer training and certification.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE!
Must be team oriented and be able to work with well with others.
We're family owned and operated, we also sell new and used boats on site so proficiency in driving boats is a must. There are also lots of perks working for a smaller operation compared to working for a larger corporate company.
We do repairs and perform regular 100hr service / warranty work for all these brands. Looking for someone with at least a year of hands on experience. Forklift operation experience is a plus. Certification for any the brands we sell is a plus but not required. Full time position with opportunity for OT (hourly pay & 1/2 pay rate for OT) & pay raises based on performance. Immediate start available.

Summary

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine appropriate solutions.
- Utilize hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components.
- Perform rigging tasks such as installing and adjusting rigging systems.
- Utilize forklift for moving heavy equipment and materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
