About the Role:
Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a highly skilled Certified Marine Technician to join our team. We are looking for a top technician with experience in Yamaha, Suzuki, and Mercury systems who can elevate our service department to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Rig, Diagnose, Maintain, and Repair:
- Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on customer and dealer units
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine outboard and inboard motors
- Execute routine maintenance and safety inspections on a wide variety of marine vehicles
- Conduct lake tests as necessary to ensure repair quality
- Install and replace OEM and aftermarket accessories and parts
- Customer Satisfaction & Service Quality:
- Complete repairs professionally and efficiently to minimize come backs
- Deliver exceptional service, maintaining the high standards associated with Boater's World
- General Duties and Administration:
- Submit parts requests to the Parts Advisor and maintain clear communication with the Service Manager
- Keep a clean and organized workspace
- Proactively pursue continuing education and stay up-to-date with industry certifications and standards
Requirements
- Certified in Yamaha, Suzuki, and/or Mercury (certification in other brands like Honda or MerCruiser is a plus)
- 3 years of hands-on experience as a Marine Technician or Outboard Mechanic
- Ability to interpret and follow complex instructions and specifications
- Strong knowledge of shop safety procedures
- MMI graduate preferred
Working Conditions:
- Shop environment requiring kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects
- Occasional Saturday work and more than 40-hour weeks may be necessary
