Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the sales department at our Lake Placid, FL location. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll not only manage the sales team but also be actively engaged in selling boats and creating exceptional buying experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the dealership’s sales operations and staff on a daily basis.
- Actively participate in the sales process—greeting customers, conducting walkarounds, desking deals, and closing sales.
- Work directly with customers to help them select boats and products that meet their needs.
- Train, mentor, and develop the sales team to meet monthly volume and revenue goals.
- Desk deals, manage inventory, and coordinate closely with the F&I team to ensure seamless customer transitions.
- Monitor daily performance metrics and adjust strategies to drive results.
- Promote a positive, customer-centric culture that emphasizes repeat business and referrals.
- Assist in marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
- Maintain full compliance with dealership policies and applicable regulations.
- Communicate performance reports and dealership updates to senior leadership regularly.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales management role within a dealership setting (marine, automotive, or RV preferred).
- Strong understanding of F&I processes and desking deals.
- Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of marine products is a plus, but not required.
- Proficient with CRM and dealership management systems; strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
