We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and the ability to lead maintenance projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintenance and repair of park amenities and facilities: fence repair, signpost maintenance, light plumbing repairs, painting, etc.
- Reporting to the park manager with updates and requisitions.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems, including light electrical and plumbing when necessary.
- Regular inspections to ensure safety standards.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve facilities maintenance processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Landscaping tasks include mowing, trimming, and general upkeep.
- Assisting residents with issues or concerns.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and management regarding maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems and ability to work.
- Ability to work with various tools and machinery. Maintenance and repair of park amenities and facilities.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise projects and guide team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities.
- Must be able to life 40 lbs. safely.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Must be reliable, diligent, and have attention to detail.
- Must be willing to get pool certification.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and a team player.
Pay Range: $22.00 to 424.00/hour, dependent upon experience.
