Maintenance and Light Repair technician

Lincoln of Columbus, A Bob-Boyd Auto Family Dealership, has an immediate opening at our Northwest Columbus location for a Maintenance and Light Repair technician.

Our job provides a five day work week with rotating Saturdays, paid Holidays and vacation. We offer a comprehensive benefit package that includes options for Health, Vision, Dental and Life. Package includes available 401K program and employee savings plan.

Responsibilities Requirements

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership - familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures
• Assist service advisor in test driving vehicles, and testing components and systems - You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Eagerness to work hard with a positive attitude
• Interest in and passion for the automotive industry
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen & background check.
