What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Quick Lane Technician position at Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln?
Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln is looking for entry-level automotive technicians for our busy shop. Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary. We will train motivated individuals who are looking to start on a path to a rewarding career in the automotive industry. Some tools may be required to start. Hourly pay depending on experience with performance based incentives.
Job Summary
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Perform lube and oil filter changes, battery and tire installations, and minor maintenance repairs
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
- Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

- Must be able to work Saturdays
