General Accountabilities
- Dismantle, rewind, reassemble, and test electric motors
- Identify and repair problems in stators, rotor, armatures and other electromechanical equipment.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and various hand-held power and non-power tools.
- Maintain clean and safe work area and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair options
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to guide repair processes
Job Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 1-2 years of related experience as an electric motor and pump mechanic, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
