POSITION REPORT TO: Sr. Director, Cybersecurity & Infrastructure
POSITION LOCATION: Bob Evans Restaurant Support Center, New Albany, Ohio
Statement of Purpose:
As a Senior Manager of Cloud Services, you will be responsible for managing a team to implement, and operate scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and on-premises cloud managed devices. This position will ensure that all solutions meet business objectives and adhere to security standards. Overall responsibilities will include managing the operations, providing technical leadership, ensuring the successful deployment and incident management of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, and leveraging the team to achieve the goals.
Accountabilities
- Implement and operate cloud services that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's cloud-based infrastructure strategy, including lifecycle management, optimization, and governance.
- Manage Cost Containment for cloud, infrastructure, and licensing spend.
- Vendor management of Microsoft and related infrastructure services.
- Cloud tenant management of Azure and AWS.
- Device operations and management of 8000 Windows 11/10 computers and Android tablets
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to architect resilient, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Ensure alignment with relevant cybersecurity, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct infrastructure reviews, risk assessments, and technology audits
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, continuously improving the organization's cloud capabilities.
Knowledge
- Proficiency in management of high performing engineers, environmental uptime, and business continuity.
- Extensive experience with cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models.
- Cloud device management utilizing Microsoft Defender 365, and Purview
- Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security principles, including identity and access management, Identity governance, data governance, protection, and compliance.
- Cloud management, focusing on scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrable leadership skills and resourcefulness.
- Possess self-drive to keep moving things forward despite ambiguity and imperfect knowledge (avoid “analysis paralysis”).
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
Education/Experience
- BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, ISO, Security, and IT Management
- 4 years of experience in IT Cloud Infrastructure, design, implementation, and support.
- 4 years of experience in IT management.
- Experience with budgeting and resource management
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong skills in working with Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools.
- Experience in driving highly technical teams.
