Bob Johnson Chevrolet in Greece/Rochester, NY is HIRING NOW for friendly, energetic Service Advisors to assist customers in understanding their car’s maintenance or repair options and answer customer questions before they’re scheduled with a technician.
Our Service Department is a well-oiled machine, and we’re looking for individuals that are team-oriented, motivated, and ready to hit the ground running. We have a high-traffic shop with a loyal clientele that depend on us for their service needs. Customer Service skills and a friendly disposition are a must!

Responsibilities – Service Advisor:
- Schedule appointments for service/maintenance/recall work
- Greet customers and inspect their vehicle
- Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty, and genuine concern for customer
- Listen to customer’s reason(s) for bringing their vehicle to the service department
- Advise customers about necessary/suggested services and costs
- Follow the status of the customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work
- Keep customers informed of any changes that occur
- Upon completion of work, review work order with customer to assure all concerns are addressed
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications – Service Advisor:
Previous Dealership or Shop experience is a plus- Previous Service Advisor, Service Department, or Sales Department experience in Automotive, RV, Motorsport, or Marine dealership experience is a plus!
- General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations is preferred
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Good work ethic and computer skills
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
