What are the responsibilities and job description for the Girls Cheerleading Coach position at Bob Jones Academy?
POSITION SUMMARY:
• Coaching and mentoring JV (9-12th grade) Girls Cheerleading
• Communicating schedules, practices, and games with parents and players
• Cooperating with the overall high school schedule and policies
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and plan team practices
- Travel with teams to away games
- Coach team during basketball games
- Teach the fundamentals of cheerleading: skills, cheers, and strategies
- Disciple in Christian character building
- Available all season beginning with preseason mid-August and ends with playoffs mid-February
- Available for all practices generally from 3:30-5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
