PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to follow completed instructions
- Chaperone male personnel who need to work in the women's residence halls
- Perform simple maintenance repairs on toilets, plumbing, lights, door handles, and retrieve items lost between furniture
- Assist with pest control as instructed
- Help train and lead a small student crew
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Able to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of use of hand tools
- Good attitude
- Willing to learn
- Clean, well-groomed appearance
- Courteous communication with the students and fellow workers
- Discernment to contact supervisor concerning transfer of work demanding time or skill beyond the scope of this department
- Occasionally lift/carry over 100 lbs.
- Occasionally push/pull 41-100 lbs.
- Must be enrolled in post-graduate studies at Bob Jones University
