We are looking for an experienced Automotive BDC Manager or Sales Manager to to lead our Sales Team in Business Development operations and driving overall sales efforts at the dealership. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the team, managing sales leads, and executing strategies to optimize sales performance and overall customer service. Your focus will be training and leading the team to succeed and meet sales goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor the team to ensure effective handling of inbound sales leads and inquiries.
2. Manage the sales pipeline, track key performance indicators, and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
3. Collaborate with sales staff to facilitate lead transfers, streamline the sales process, and maximize revenue opportunities.
4. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of staff.
5. Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive sales initiatives.
6. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving escalated issues and ensuring a seamless sales experience.
7. Drive the adoption and utilization of CRM systems to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and optimize customer engagement.
8. Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and best practices to enhance the dealership's sales performance.
Qualifications:
1. Direct automotive dealership or general automotive sales experience, preferably in a managerial role.
2. Proven track record in a management role within the automotive industry.
3. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
4. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools. And training them to others.
5. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends to drive strategic decisions.
6. Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environment with a customer-centric approach.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and compliance standards in the automotive sector. Teaching and training the sales team as needed on these processes.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
