Used Vehicle Acquisition Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Used Vehicle Acquisition Consultant to join our dynamic team at Bob King Mazda. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to acquire used vehicles from various sources including the service drive, Facebook Marketplace, KBB Buying Center, and private party listings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire used vehicles through service drive, Facebook Marketplace, KBB Buying Center, and private party listings.

• Negotiate with sellers to obtain the best possible prices and terms.

• Evaluate vehicle conditions and ensure they meet dealership standards.

• Collaborate with the General Manager and other team members to meet acquisition goals.

• Maintain accurate records of all vehicles acquired and transactions completed.

• Stay updated with market trends and pricing strategies to maximize acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales or business development within a dealership is required.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with a drive to succeed.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in using online platforms such as Facebook Marketplace and KBB Buying Center.

• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

Compensation

• Annual pay ranging from $30,000 to $60,000, with commission based on the number of vehicles acquired monthly.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 7:00pm at Bob King Mazda

What can you expect after applying to join our team?

• You will be contacted based on your preference by text, email or phone to setup an interview time if we feel you, are a good fit.
• Please come to the interview dressed for success and we will need to make a copy of your driver’s license to go with your pre hire packet.
• If we decide to move forward, we will send an email after the interview from ClearCo to run a background check. ClearCo will also be the provider to pick your pre hire drug screen.
• Once all pre hire items are received back we will call you to make an offer if you are the candidate chosen for the job.
