Responsibilities:
- Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair
- Perform vehicle repairs within your current capability/skill level
- Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Communicate with the service advisor and/or dispatcher if additional work is needed
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- Road test vehicles when required
- Perform additional related duties as required and assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 35 pounds from the ground
- Ability to physically strain to move large objects (i.e. pushing in a dead vehicle)
- Ability to stand on feet for multiple hours at a time
- Ability to crouch, kneel, bend over
- Fine motor skills to operate hand tools, computers, and small parts
- Gross motor skills of holding hands above head for an extended period of time
- Ability to withstand sudden light changes, and stimuli from computer/tablet screen
- Ability to see fine details in small components
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Ford Certified experience required
- 2 years of experience working on Ford Diesel vehicles
- ASE certifications are ideal
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have a clean & valid driver's license
Salary : $30 - $40
