Summary

As a Dump Truck Driver at Bob Miller Construction, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites. Your role is vital in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to various job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and operational before each shift.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at job sites.
• Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading and unloading of materials efficiently.
• Assist with loading materials when necessary using heavy equipment.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
• Ability to operate other heavy equipment such as backhoes or graders is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
