Seasonal Inn-Keeper Wanted
Bob’s Cabins is located on Lake Superior just south of Two Harbors. We are looking for someone to join our small team and family owned business to help manage reservations, check-in guests, clean cabins and daily onsite laundry.
Approximately 32 hours per week. 4 days a week 9:30-5:30pm.
Seasonal: Our season starts mid-May and extends through the 3rd week of October with a week on each side for opening/closing cleaning. Total of ~26 weeks.
Pay: W-2 at $16-$19 an hour based on experience and performance.
Duties:
- Use a computer program for making reservations, checking in guests, etc.
- Returning phone calls, answering onsite phone calls,
- Sanitizing and cleaning of cabins to a high-quality standard in between guests
- Running loads of laundry, folding sheets and towels, and restocking cabins
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Work is done inside (in the laundry room or within cabins) but golf-cart rides between the two when it is raining will occur from time to time.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, kneel, walk, climb, reach, and drive a housekeeper’s golf cart. The job requires visual acuity, hearing, and good verbal skills. On occasion employees may be asked to carry items that may weigh up to 35 lbs and use a step-stool or small ladder. The nature of the work implies repetitive motions and tasks.
