What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Temp (Hybrid - Manchester, CT) position at Bob's Discount Furniture?
This position will focus on assisting the Benefits Lead with administrative tasks. This is a high-activity role where one will need to demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple tasks, manage time, plan independently and prioritize as appropriate. This is a temporary assignment (30-60 days).
Job Responsibilities
* Provide reports to other departments and external companies
* Communicate with employees and HR business partners through emails, tickets and phone to answer general inquiries
* Complete weekly discrepancy reports from benefit carriers
* Complete weekly funding of the 401k and H.S.A. plans
* Handling and filing of confidential information
* Submit weekly invoices for various benefit vendors
* Special projects and other duties within benefits and/or the Human Resources functional group in general
Required Qualifications
* 1 year or more experience within Human Resources function with exposure to LOA policies and procedures
* High attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Experience with Microsoft Office; including Excel in particular, Outlook and Word
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and work under strict time constraints
* Ability to follow a project through to completion with minimum direction
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working within HRIS system preferably Workday
