Position Overview The Documentation Control Analyst I works to standardize documents, train employees on using current and new documentation, and audit completed documentation. This position maintains and oversees documentation control systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains, organizes, and oversees new document creation and standardization.
- Facilitates training for all departments in documentation creation and storage best practices.
- Responsible for maintaining developing and executing documentation auditing processes.
- Assists with creating, maintaining, and updating work instructions/SOP’s for all positions and processes.
- Partners with leadership to create and implement documentation control programs.
- Identifies training gaps and escalates issues to the Operational Excellence Manager.
- Works cross-functionally with multiple departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehouse, and others to understand and record operational processes and needs.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
- Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Familiar with company policies and procedures.

- Capable of tailoring communication style and content to reflect the audience and provide clear, concise information.
- Ability to make presentations to executive management, department managers, supervisors, and staff.

- This position reports to the Documentation Control Manager.
- 3 or more years of documentation creation and/or control systems experience, AND
- High school diploma or equivalent; OR
- Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
- Training experience preferred.
- Ability to speak in two or more languages.
- Experience with electronic file management (SharePoint, QMS, MS Project, MS Planner, etc.)
- ERP and/or CRM experience (MS Dynamics 365, SAP, Salesforce, etc.)
- Good physical dexterity with the ability to climb ladders and stairs, squat, kneel, stand for long periods of time, reach overhead, and walk on uneven surfaces.
- Occasional lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- The work environment is primarily office, production, and warehouse settings.
- Work environment includes variable shift schedules due to changing business needs.
- Use of personal protective equipment such as helmets, ear plugs, and hairnets are mandatory; use of non-slip shoes is recommended.
- Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.
