Responsibilities – Body Shop Painter:
- Assess and analyze damaged areas to prep for painting.
- Remove rust, fill cavities and dents to create an even surface.
- Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application.
- Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
- Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency
- Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
- Refinish
- Ensure finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace
Qualifications/Requirements - Body Shop Painter:
Current automotive body painting experience is required- I-CAR certification is preferred but we will train
- Must be willing to participate in I-CAR and other training
- Dependable with a good work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
