Part time bobarist position/cashier- WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS MUST

Please note this position is primarily for weekends. Friday, Saturday and Sunday open availability is a must. Must have weekend availability. Occasional weekday hours may be given as well.

Responsibilities:

-Prepping and making boba and tea's -Make sure all toppings are full and ready to be served for the day and following day. -Self sufficient and someone who is cheerful, witty and friendly and a quick learner!
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffees, milk tea's, fruit teas, milkshakes and smoothies.

-check inventory and make sure everything is stocked

-keeping the store tidy and clean. Cleaning refrigerators, counters, floors, tables and back.
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and precisely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boba shop area. Front end and back end duties and making sure to follow store store checklist. looking for someone who can follow instructions/directions and keen on cleaning and getting things done.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with making batter for taiyaki's, making jams, making taiyaki's and all signatures beverages as well as boba and teas.
- Ensure that all drink and food items are prepared according to company standards
- Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in boba/coffee/food service industry is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills, including the ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic retail math calculations
- EXCELLENT customer service skills with a friendly and positive upbeat attitude. Someone who can handle situations without freaking out. Someone who has good attention to detail and always finding something to do.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds

-Someone who can take direction and follow instructions and take order.

AT THIS TIME WE ARE ONLY HIRING FOR WEEKENDS. Friday, Saturday and Sunday scheduling only. Must have open availability anytime from 12pm-8pm. If this fits your availability and if you’re looking for a weekend job then this will be perfect for you.
