Salary: $15.50 p/hour (Team Sucker) with up to $3.00 per hour in tips (est. $18.50 per hour- tips based on 2022 average/quarterly bonus

Summary of Position:

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience to all our guests. Each team member’s primary objective is to make our guest’s experience memorable & boba-tastic!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests – Required Greeting “Hi, welcome to Boba Tea Company”
• Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
• Make recommendations you genuinely feel our guests will enjoy.
• Answer questions about our drinks, the history of boba and other BTC’s functions and services.
• Take beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the order module and repeats customer’s order to confirm that order was entered correctly.
• Activates customer’s suckbucks card
• Accept payment, process credit card charges of make change – if applicable.
• Make the customers drink correctly and with precision
• Give guests their drink, thank them and invite them to return.
• Perform side work at start and end of each shift (cleaning, restocking, making teas and bobas) as required by service station assignment.
• Maintain clean work environment inside and outside.
• Monitor and observe guests’ experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with their boba tea drinks. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow team member as situations arise.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Boba Tea Company as directed by the manager, assistant manager or team leader.

Qualifications:

• Be at-least 16 years of age.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of BTC’s trading area.
• Must have a basic knowledge of customer service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver any chair/table or inventory weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work under pressure in some cases.
• Ability to obtain food handler's card (we provide if you do not possess one)
