Job Summary
Bobber's Tiki Bar is looking for an individual to be the lead bartender for the summer. The lead bartender would be responsible for managing staff, compiling the schedule, bartending, and working with management on ordering. This individual will be given freedom to go forward with marketing ideas, drink specials, and bar organization. This is a seasonal position but opportunities exist outside of the summer for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Completing weekly bar schedules
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
- Manage inventory levels and work with management to complete all orders
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and bar operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or requests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices related to bar inventory management is preferred.
- Bartender's ServSafe required upon hiring
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
