Intern Architect
Job Description:
Bobbitt A&E is seeking an Intern Architect for immediate full-time employment in our office located in Raleigh, NC. The Intern will work under the direct supervision of one of our Registered Architects. The intern’s duties will depend primarily on the capabilities of that intern. Bobbitt A&E is currently designing a variety of commercial buildings in collaboration with our sister company, Bobbitt Design Build, Inc. Our integrated design-build approach offers a rigorous pace with hands-on involvement. Bobbitt’s team-oriented environment provides the opportunity to be part of the turn-key process from beginning to completion. Our ideal candidate will have experience with multiple project types and will demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
Position Requirements:
- Intern Architect with 1 or more years of experience covering a variety of commercial project types
- Revit proficiency – Our projects are designed and detailed in Revit
- AutoCad proficiency a plus – but not required
- LEED AP a plus – but not required
- Familiarity with International, local and accessibility codes.
- Strong verbal and graphic communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with attentiveness to deadlines
- Dedication to teamwork
