Preconstruction Manager - Estimator- Job Description
Summary:
The Preconstruction Manager is a highly visible project member on a team responsible for delivering exceptional and trusted client services in the construction industry. This role aggregates and analyzes all relevant data for preconstruction projects as necessary for the team to fulfill its responsibility to internal and external stakeholders.
The Preconstruction Manager will contribute to the day-to-day administration of the full suite of preconstruction services. These may include feasibility studies, budget estimates from conceptual design to final bidding, comparative studies, value engineering, and presentation of the same to clients. The Preconstruction Manager may be part of efforts to secure new business opportunities, including involvement in industry organizations and participation in the project interview process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide complete preconstruction services to our clients and operations team with minimal
- Prepare and analyze pricing proposals to include current market and regional conditions, historical data, material escalation, internal estimate, and subcontractor input in order to provide complete and accurate estimates to our clients.
- Participate in the design and preconstruction phase with all stakeholders including owners, design team, consultants, and Bobbitt operations to move the project into the construction
- Participate in presentations and interviews with clients, including strategic
- Manage and delegate responsibilities for multiple projects and
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and passion for construction and our
- Self-motivated, proactive thinker with the willingness to take initiative and seek

Work Format:
This position requires team collaboration and presence at in-person meetings and is best suited to a traditional work schedule. Occasional remote work is acceptable.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel (10-15%) to meetings and events, typically within a 150-mile radius of the office.
- Occasional travel to various job site locations as needed for photography or milestone events.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to see well (naturally or with correction).
