Osprey Cove Golf Club, located in St. Mary's, Georgia, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Bartenders. Set within a master-planned community and offering a suite of amenities, Osprey Cove was designed by PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber. The layout is a testament to his commitment to establishing a course that is defined by the natural characteristics of the land and river. Osprey Cove has earned numerous accolades and has been listed among Golfweek’s “Top 5 in Georgia” and Golf and Travel’s “Top 100 Modern Courses.”
Responsibilities of the Bartender at Osprey Cove Golf Club include:
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared.
- Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
- Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.
- Maintains daily inventory and records.
- Checks identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Assists food servers and hostesses as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (May vary by state)
- Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes
- Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.

- Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
