DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Post accounting entries for vehicle sales, service, and parts.
- Prepare vehicle floor plan payments, bank reconciliations, and intercompany billing.
- Process vehicle title work.
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations
- Provide additional assistance to the accounting manager:
- Month end reporting
- Monthly financial statement
- Monthly and quarterly sales and use taxes
- Review Incentive and Manufacturer receivables
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a positive "can do" attitude.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skill.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Team player that takes pride in a job well done.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and the ability to learn dealership-specific software.
- Accounting experience or accounting degree required.
- Previous automotive accounting experience preferred.
