Job Type: Full-time, commission Base ($36,000 per yr ) (exempt) position
Reports To: CVR Rental Manager
Job Summary
A Central Valley Strategic Rental Representative is responsible for the rental & sale of Bobcat Compact Equipment within the CVR. This role is essential in driving rental revenue growth and building strong relationships with our strategic customers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, goal-oriented, and excited about working in a fast-paced environment within the equipment rental industry.

Strategic Rental Representative Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop revenue generation through the creation of leads, initiation of prospect calls and the establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers leading to future opportunities.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored rental solutions to meet those needs.
- Apply knowledge of the industry to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Drive rental revenue by developing a pipeline of prospective clients and conducting regular follow-ups.
- Analyze rental revenue trends and market conditions to drive annual sales growth to meet financial and sales targets.
- Proactively identify, solicit and motivate targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold-calling, lead qualifying, presenting proposals and sales funnel management.
- Maintain sales records and provide required reporting.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote Bobcat Central, Inc.'s rental services.
- Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
- Keep up to date on product and industry knowledge and attend product training as required.
- Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.
- Coordinate and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales actions.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on market trends, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Collaborate with the executive to develop short- and long-term strategic plans.
- Maintain continuity in customer relationships through frequent face-to-face visits at customer’s facilities.
- Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
- All other duties as assigned.
Strategic Rental Representative Education and Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- Two plus years of experience in a Sales role for our equipment industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effectively work from remote locations.
- Valid drivers’ license and clean DMV record.
Strategic Rental Representative Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
- Industry knowledge, a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an inside/outside sales role.
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a positive and professional manner.
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Fanatical about Customer Service – understands what it takes to be successful in starting and building customer relationships through obsessive attention to service and parts requirements.
