The Manufacturing Engineer will work in an advisory capacity to manufacturing, engineering, and/or purchasing departments using knowledge of methods and materials in specialized field or general manufacturing to optimize safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
Role & Responsibility
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field Product and Industry knowledge is a plus. Leadership experience. Experience: 5 > 7 Years, Travel Standard Lean Manufacturing experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The Manufacturing Engineer will work in an advisory capacity to manufacturing, engineering, and/or purchasing departments using knowledge of methods and materials in specialized field or general manufacturing to optimize safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
Role & Responsibility
- Support the analysis of time and motion, methods, estimating, process engineering and plant layout for facility to ensure balanced methods and available capacity to meet customer demand.
- Review factory manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities related to associated cost, time, ergonomics, quality, and quantity factors.
- Review capital justifications for each North American site, regarding the design and development of new manufacturing processes, systems, equipment, and materials to contribute to the company’s short and long-term objectives.
- Leads AOP/LRP capacity and capital plan for all North American sites, concentration on automation.
- Track North American capital plan to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Review and guide new product development to design for manufacturing and assembly concentrating on automation opportunities.
- Problem Solving, produce, publish, and vault completed documentation for Capital, Automation and Digital Roadmaps and related processes.
- Lead evaluations of, and support justification for, the procurement of new machines and equipment for North American manufacturing plants.
- Assist engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing personnel in problem solving activities related to assigned area for product support.
- Represent North American Operations Strategy team in developing and maintaining AI projects and initiatives. Incorporate the results into standards, processes, and roadmaps.
- Support Make vs Buy analysis and decisions.
- Understand cost allocations, OH rate calculation, cost modeling including Variable, Semi Variable and Fixed costs in manufacturing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and new technologies. Provide input and feedback to North American manufacturing sites.
