Product Support Specialist

Job Summary
Upstate Equipment is a veteran owned and operated, certified Bobcat dealership that specializes in Sales, Service, Rental, and Parts. We are looking for a qualified candidate as a Product Support Specialist to lead our Parts and Service departments. As a Product Support Specialist at Bobcat of Batavia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of compact machinery for our valued customers. Communicating critical diagnostic information directly to the customer, with a solution on how to fix these issues.

**Responsibilities:**

Parts:

• Proactively manage and communicate as needed based on the following
• Parts Needed- Research equipment parts in the inventory system
• Parts Ordered- (Especially backordered parts) and inventory needs
• Parts Received- Stock incoming inventory and locate stored inventory
• Management and organization of Will Call, Warranty, and Returned parts
• Primary liaison for parts ordered through Service to give to technicians, so work is done in a timely and organized manner
• Overflow parts counter support (ie. phone calls, greet customers in the showroom)
• Multitasking ability to succeed while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Upkeeping safe and clean workspaces daily

Service:

• Manage work orders and Service Technicians and have clear communication with the Customer on service, parts, and payment processes
• Help the team understand their roles and responsibilities in the Repair Process
• Frontline machines warranty and field modification submission and closure
• Customer machine troubleshooting interactions over the phone, email, and in person along with follow up with Customers on the status of their repair

Essential Physical Requirements:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move heavy parts sometimes in excess of 50 pounds.
• Stand and sit for extended periods of time
• Communicate and listen clearly to customers needs

**Experience:**

• High school diploma or equivalent a must. Technical certification or associate's degree in compact equipment mechanics is a plus.
• Previous work with Bobcat equipment parts or machines is preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety-conscious mindset and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• The operation of various construction equipment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
