Bobcat of Houston - Baytown: This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on our complete lines of products in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems for our core product and executing effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality repair services in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
- Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on portable power units (Air Compressors, Generators, and Light Towers)
- Participate in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
- Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
- Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company
Qualifications
- Previous experience working on commercial and industrial generators/compressors
- Preferred knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems such as compressors, generators and light towers and diesel engines
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
- Experience working on portable power equipment
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
Physical Requirements
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
- Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
- Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
